The energy conservation exposition 2010 (ENCON EXPO 2010)
featuring energy-efficient products and renewable energy will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from
November 25-28.
The event, which will house 300-400 pavilions from 40
foreign enterprises and 200 domestic businesses, is being held by the Energy
Conservation Centre of HCM City (ECC-HCMC) and Anh That Commerce and Service
Co. Ltd.

The exhibition aims to promote the exchange, cooperation and
transfer of technology on energy saving while introducing energy-efficient
appliances in an effort to raise public awareness of using energy-saving
products.
A number of activities will take place within the framework
of the event such as a students’ forum, a children’s painting contest and other
promotional activities.
According to ECC-HCMC, the 6.8 percent year-on-year increase
of electricity prices in 2010 is encouraging more people and businesses to
think about energy-saving measures.
