In 2011, Vinh Phuc’s Big C has applied for the contest "Energy efficiency in industry and buildings" organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. According to energy experts, the technology applied in Vinh Phuc’s Big C has saved about 20% of energy usage compared to a normal commercial center.
